Message from President

Dear Colleagues,

We look forward to seeing you all at our 38th annual dinner meeting in Dallas. I strongly recommend you to invite your colleagues, residents, fellows and attending of Indian origin. Please note that we have made the change this year in day of our meeting to Sunday. This was done to avoid conflicts with other Academy events and to encourage our members for a strong attendance and participation.

It is a great honor and privilege to have Sujana Chandrasekhar, MD as our featured speaker for the evening. Dinner and open bar is complementary so make every effort to RSVP to attend by Wednesday September 23, 2015.

Looking forward to welcome you.

Wishing you all the best,

Satish

Message from Secretary

Dear Colleague,

With fall quickly approaching, the annual 2015 AAO-HNS meeting is now just around the corner. This year, we head south to sunny Dallas, Texas. It is my pleasure to inform you that the 38th annual meeting of AAOIH will take place on Sunday September 27, 2015 from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dallas, Texas. This annual dinner meeting is a special occasion that gives us a unique opportunity to share fellowship with our close colleagues from across the country and the world. Please make every effort to register and attend the meeting.

Since our previous meeting in Orlando, Florida, we have been making great strides in updating our Membership database. Our previous secretary, Pete Batra, was instrumental in beginning the process to update our Membership database. Since then, several individuals have spent a number of hours updating and verifying the database. We owe a great amount of gratitude to Dr Satish Govindraj, Dr. Dinesh Mehta, and Dr. Ashutosh Kacker for taking on this huge responsibility. Despite these efforts, more work still needs to be done to update and verify the database. This year, we upgraded our website and linked Paypal to facilitate pre registration and payment of dues. Please update your membership and submit your annual dues electronically by visiting our website. We are anticipating a significant response to our meeting in Dallas. We strongly request you RSVP your attendance by Wednesday, September 23, 2015.

Looking forward to seeing you in Dallas!

Sincerely,

Ameet Singh M.D

Secretary, AAOIH

A Message from President Elect:

Dear Colleagues:

I am grateful to the Governing Board of AAOIH for electing me as your President Elect. My special thanks to our President Dr. Satish Govindaraj and members of Nomnating Committee for their confidence in me. I appreciate Secretary Dr. Ameet Singh for allowing me sharing the ongoing responsibilty of updating our database. As an Internet coordinator in early 2013, designing our website and updating it with the contents of our association was a challenging task.I am happy to report that this year our new upgraded redesigned website with PayPal embeded registration form is ready to go. I request to all the members of our Association to update their profile on our new website.

For last few years AAOIH is undergoing a transition phase of younger member demographics. In order to accomplish our mission we are embarking on a journey to make AAOIH relevant to the neeeds of current and young otolaryngologist of Indian Heritage. I request you to join us in Dallas and also request you to make suggestions as to how we can make AAOIH more attractive.
